September 21 commemorates World Alzheimer's Day, and because of it Benidorm and the Association of Families and Collaborators of Alzheimer's Marina Baixa, begin this week the events scheduled for Alzheimer's Week, waving from yesterday on the main balcony of the City of Benidorm a banner in solidarity with Alzheimer patients and families.
The events began yesterday celebrating a day of living together with various associations such as AFEM and ASMIBE in the Benidorm Children's Traffic Park.
On Tuesday 17 will be an excursion to Cullera-Gandía, with the collaboration of the Diputación de Alicante. On Wednesday 18, a Talk colloquium between the head of the service of neurology of the Clinical Hospital of Benidorm, Dr. Hernández Martínez, and the Psychologist of AFA Marina Baixa, Beatriz Albaladejo on the "Prevention as a way of life, stimulates your brain. On Thursday 19 there will be a mass in the Parish Ntra. Sra. de La Almudena and on Friday 20 will be installed information tables and petitorias in the streets Alameda and Tomás Ortuño and Plaza de SS. MM the Kings of Spain.
The main event of the Alzheimer's Week will take place on Saturday, September 21, World Alzheimer's Day, at 18.30 in the hall of the City of Benidorm, with the performance of the Poniente Choir and a session of music therapy, with the director of the school of Music Roberto Carballo.
To end on Sunday 22 will be held the Day of Coexistence and "Solidarity Food" in the Arrocería La Marina.
