Terra Natura Benidorm commemorates the Day of the Valencian Community

The nature and animal park Terra Natura Benidorm will commemorate the Day of the Valencian Community in a special way. On this occasion, various traditional activities will be organised such as dances, folk dances and workshops, as well as a medieval tournament. Through the celebration of October the 9th, Terra Natura will try to bring the culture and folklore of the Valencian Community to visitors who come during this festive day to its facilities.

The program designed for this day will rescue the figure of historical characters such as King Jaume I and Na Violant d'Hongria. To this end, the Napoleonic Association of Valencia will be responsible for starring in an animation in which the public can be characterized with costumes of the time and participate in a contest, where the best costumes will receive bluetooth helmets Energy System.

The traditional dance group El Centener de Villajoyosa will perform various popular songs to liven up the day, which will also be accompanied by a group of bigheads and cardboard horses. Among the activities that have been prepared will also include the development of a medieval tournament, which will recreate typical scenes of the Middle Ages such as the appointment of knights.

The leisure activities will continue with a large balloon at 14.30 in the area set in the Greek village. The rhythmic noise of the balloons exploded by the visitors will give way to the start of craft workshops such as the production of traditional plates or the workshop of archery for children, where a fantastic character, Princess Merida, will accompany the youngest in their experience and can be photographed with her.

There will also be a special make-up session created for the 9th of October. The programme will conclude with an animated show starring medieval warriors. At the same time, the public will be able to enjoy other animations such as the birds of prey show, informative talks on birds and other animals, among other initiatives dedicated to disseminating knowledge of biodiversity through actions that combine leisure and dissemination.
