Nearly 2,000 runners from more than 30 nationalities will participate in the midnight Half Marathon.

The race will be held at sunset, on a circuit approved by the Athletics Federation

Nearly 2,000 runners from more than 30 nationalities will participate in the midnight Half Marathon.

Only 17 days left for the race Benidorm Half, which will be held the 3rd of March.  For the first time the race will be run that month, taking advantage of the local weather and with the aim of promoting sports tourism.

The organization has announced that 1,600 runners have already registered and that the final number of registered will be around 2,000. With the latest data, it has confirmed that 30 nationalities and 'runners' will be represented from the 17 autonomous communities and 35 Spanish provinces. The organizers calculate that 50% of registered will be national and the other 50%, foreigners. The circuit has been approved by the Athletics Federation and the event has been included in the official competition calendar.

Among the latest news, of BenidormHalf and in parallel to the sporting event, there will be entertainment for the youngest with Zumba and Batucada and for the first time a ‘’tapas marathon’’, after the agreement reached with an important group of restoration of the city,

Martin Fiz and Ángel Nieto foundation

The organization has highlighted the presence of the world champion Martin Fiz in Goteborg 95, as prior to his participation in the London Marathon, which aims to win to complete his record with the victory in the Six Majors (the six most important marathons in the world: Boston, Berlin, Chicago, New York, Tokyo and the British capital). They also announced a collaboration agreement with the newly created Angel Nieto Foundation to help victims of motorcycle accidents that will have their public presentation at Benidormhalf.
